Irish Sieger Breed Show and Körung 2026
The Irish Sieger Breed Show and Körung will take place at OG Templepatrick on August 8th 2026, judged by Herr Patrick Send (SV Germany)
Körmeister/Judge (SV) Mr Patrick Send is a German Shepherd Dog specialist judge, character assessor and breed surveyor with the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV), based in Winzer, Germany. He oversees German Shepherd Dog shows and breed surveys in Germany and abroad in line with SV and WUSV regulations, with a clear focus on sound character, correct structure and overall fitness for work.
Active in the breed since childhood, Mr Send has been a member of the SV since 1993 and established his kennel ‘von Juventus’ in 2007. Over the years he has held various board positions at local group level and is currently an SV breed judge, SV judge for character assessment and SV breed surveyor. He has also served as a judicial assistant at the Bundessiegerzuchtschau on several occasions, gaining direct experience at the highest level of the German Shepherd show scene.
As a breeder, handler and trainer, Mr Send has achieved notable results at major events. Among his successes are German Youth and Junior Champion titles with Saskia von Arminius and Quantum von Arminius, high placements at the Bundessiegerzuchtschau with dogs such as Monique vom Haus Ka-Re, Zambia degli Achei, Cindy Crawford de Los Madriles and Quano von der Burg Haidstein, as well as competitive ‘von Juventus’ progeny groups. He has also prepared a number of prominent dogs for BSZS participation, reflecting his practical understanding of conditioning, movement and ring presentation, including Ustinov vom Romerland, Neptun von Bad-Boll, Enosch v Amasis, Hagahahl’s Figo, Ballack von der Brucknerallee and Thiago von der Burg Haidstein.
Through his combined work as judge, breeder, trainer and club official, Mr Patrick Send brings a thoughtful, practice-oriented approach to the evaluation of German Shepherd Dogs, always with the aim of supporting responsible breeding and the long-term preservation of the breed’s working qualities.
