GSA members can attain in Ireland, BH (the basic obedience, traffic safe dog test) AD (Endurance) and IGP/Schutzhund qualifications, and breed surveys recognised throughout the world.

GSA members are entitled to avail of the opportunity to have their dogs DNA registered, micro-chipped, and X-Rayed under the German SV hip and elbow scheme – adopted as GSA Ireland’s grading scheme in 2009 – and spine x-rays are also now newly available.

Find out more HERE at our ‘Health and Wellbeing’ page.

We also host breed shows run along WUSV guidelines, in which SV judges can award the highest gradings to those dogs fulfilling the international criteria, gradings which are recognised globally, and IPO trials.
